So what is everyone bringing? We are still deciding on what to take. The commute limits our choices. Also deciding if we should improve a past dish we brought or bring a new one.

I am bringing a sort of calzone roll, it is kind of like a cinnamon roll, but not sweet. My original recipe for it is extremely spicy, I mean extremely spicy, I think I might tone it down a bit on the spiciness for this though...

I as noted on the official meetup site, I'm gonna bring a couple boxes of giant Pocky from Tensuke Market, one each of a couple different flavors. I haven't had the giant form since I was in Japan back in 2003; oughta be nostalgic.

We finally decided and the winner is our Asian Pizza. It combines just about everything we brought to past meetups. Its also something I can assemble when we get there, with the help of an oven and one electrical outlet.
Our Asian Pizza consists of: A pizza crust seasoned with curry, cumin, sesame oil, and sesame seeds. Then we spread cream cheese on the warm baked pizza crust We then top with with Leaf Spinach, Onion, Tomato. Its then finished off with our General Tso style beef.

Yeah, giant Pocky is like twice as large as the normal kind. Anything that makes there be more Pocky is good by me. Also, that Asian pizza sounds good. Gonna have to save some room for that.

Thinking about making chicken skewers. Would it be in bad form to bring mixed drinks?

Thinking about making chicken skewers. Would it be in bad form to bring mixed drinks? That would depend upon how you determine what defines a bad form

Depends on whether anybody in the club is highly religious and opposed to booze or not.

Depends on whether anybody in the club is highly religious and opposed to booze or not. Yes, that is a good point

Although I personally do not drink (for a whole variety of reasons), I am not particularly against those who do (in moderation of course).

As long as nobody goes out of their gourd, I've no problem.
The problem I do have is that the only thing I can make that would survive the trip is chocolate chip cookies. Any objection to a particularly non-themed snack/dessert?
